Created by educator, writer, and curriculum developer Lena Dirbashi, Palm Leaf Press develops classroom-tested resources that help children build strong foundations in Arabic reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension. Each book is carefully structured to support students learning Arabic as a second language through clear instruction, engaging activities, colorful visuals, and practical language connected to everyday life.

A phonics curriculum for letters, sounds, and short vowels, designed for ages 5 and up. This workbook builds foundational Arabic reading skills through letter recognition, letter sounds, short vowel practice, and blending exercises. Includes audio recorded lessons to support pronunciation practice at home or in the classroom.
A phonics curriculum for vowels, blending, syllables, and fluency, designed for ages 5 and up. This workbook builds on Level 1 with long vowels, sukoon, tanween, shadda, and syllable reading practice. Includes audio recorded lessons to support pronunciation practice at home or in the classroom.
A high-frequency sight word workbook designed to build reading fluency and confidence for young Arabic learners, ages 5 and up. Students practice recognizing and reading common Arabic words through repetition, guided practice pages, and engaging activities. A great companion to the Reading Roots series for reinforcing everyday vocabulary.
